New customers should buy the newer Extension Module EM-190 that handles RS-41, RS-42 and RS-85 Type chips natively.

Existing customers who have purchased Extension Module EM-142 can continue using it to handle RS-42 Type chips only. The Technical Support will cover Extension Module EM-142 for the same lifetime as for Extension Module EM-190.
