RSD-U Resetting Device is a Cartridge Chip resetting device intended to reset our Replacement Cartridge Chips as well as OEM* chips or 3rd party* chips, allowing you to remanufacture instantly your cartridges at the Lowest Cost saving you a valuable Time and Money!

This is the most economical solution for remanufacturers! Using the RSD-U Resetting Device, you can lower significantly the cost of a single reset while reseting your chips instead of buying replacement ones.

Having the RSD-U Resetting Device you get the advantage to work with the chips of tens of thousands printers, copiers, faxes, multi-function machines on the today's market.

On the back side the RSD-U Resetting Device has a standard USB connector and an optional power plug connector.

On the front side of the RSD-U there is a DB-25 female connector (receptacle) that can connect all type Extension Modules EM-1XX and EM-2XX.

No external power adapter is needed. You just plug RSD-U Resetting Device in a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port of any laptop or desktop PC. The additional power connector can be used in some next generation Extension Modules (which may require more power than the standard USB port can provide).

The software programs can run from any device like Floppy Drive, CD/DVD Drive, Flash Drive, Hard Drive, allowing you to work at client's site (for example to scan a new OEM chips and/or to RESET customer chips). The RSD-U Client is compatible with Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP/7/8/10/11 and does not require additional drivers.

With the RSD-U Resetting Device you can change the destination of the chip or the machine type the chip can run on and reduce a slow moving inventory. We also provide universal blank chips from every chip type (RS30...RS99) which can be reloaded to any OEM number of for same chip type.

  * RSD-U Resetting Device can check any OEM or 3rd-party chip and report its type and whether it is resettable. In case it is a resettable one the RSD-U device can reset it by means of CDF resets. For those OEM or 3rd party chips that are not resettable we have readily available our RS-brand Replacement Chips that are always resettable for unlimited number of cycles by means of low cost CDF resets. Note that any order for a RSD-U Resetting Device and/or any Extension Module is subject to a minimum quantity requirement for CDF resets to be purchased in the same order.
